After ‘Saving’ Ex-wife Larsa, 48YO Actor Attacks Scottie Pippen for Brutal Michael Jordan Allegations

A man’s ex-wife is dating his teammate’s son. Stand-up comedy’s hottest act recently sat down with Vlad TV and gave his hot take on the Larsa Pippen-Marcus Jordan debacle. Larsa and Marcus’ relationship has raised many eyebrows for the 16-year age gap and their connections to Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. Larsa also got a sizable chunk of Scottie’s retirement fund in the divorce settlement, which unsettled fans. But some people are not faulting Larsa for her ex’s feud with His Airness. One of them is the star of MADtv and he had a stern stand on Scottie’s whole drama.

In case you need a refresher, Scottie and Larsa Pippen finalized their divorce in 2021. In 2023, details of their divorce settlement were uncovered. Larsa reportedly took half of Scottie’s retirement fund from the Chicago Bulls. However, Aries Spears finds this tidbit irrelevant.

Aries Spears calls out Scottie Pippen

DJ Vlad tried to make a case to Aries Spears on the subject of Larsa Pippen. But the host and the comedian couldn’t agree to disagree. Vlad tried to convey that Larsa could’ve dated anyone who is not Marcus Jordan, given his dad Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’s history. This is similar to the commentary of several social media users on Larsa’s relationship with Jordan’s son.

Spears was quick to call out the hypocrisy. “If you get to choose, then you get to choose. Don’t say you get to choose but then you can’t choose.” But when the interviewer elaborated on his point, Aries Spears made his stance clear.

“Scottie needs to take responsibility.” Referring to The Last Dance, the 48-year-old brought up Pippen’s confessional about contracts, Phil Jackson, and Michael Jordan. The funny man was not buying any of it.

According to him, Scottie had to stop blaming Jordan for issues with his past Bulls contract. “Michael played no part in the decisions you made, okay? Michael didn’t tell you to send out that game and quit on your team.”

He went on to say that Jordan has credited Pippen for his success on several occasions, including in his Hall of Fame speech. Spears believes that if Scottie keeps trashing Jordan in the media, his legacy will be tarnished. He can’t understand where Pippen’s “saltiness” comes from.

Spears is on Larsa’s Side

The former teammates’ ongoing feud has taken a complicated turn in the media with Scottie’s ex dating Michael’s son. The NBA community put most of the fault on the Real Housewives of Miami star.

Not just for the complicated situation but also for taking half of Scottie’s retirement fund. Spears slammed that notion. If it was about a woman’s retirement fund, according to him, the opinion would be different.

For those arguing about a code for dating exes, Spears also had an opinion about that.

Countering Vlad’s claim that Scottie’s contract had nothing to do with Larsa, he said, “That has everything to do with Larsa.”

As per Spears, Scottie trashing Michael in public is the cause of all the drama. He makes a point because if Scottie wasn’t constantly talking smack about Jordan, things wouldn’t be a messy quadrilateral.
