Days after hosting the largest bass festival in Texas, Shaquille O’Neal took to Instagram to express his gratitude towards the fans and reveal that he will be doing the festival next year as well. 15000 fans joined to see DJ Diesel take the stage. With 16 acts added to the event, Shaq organized two stages for the fans to experience the music.
Fans from all around the world gathered in Fort Worth on Saturday, September 16. The festival was a one-day event and ran from 4 p.m. to midnight. Following the success of the show, Shaq posted a video on Instagram and captioned it,
“Thank you for letting me be a part of this community. all I wanna do is create a festival that allows us to escape reality for a few hours with our best friends. This family we have built together is forever. see you at shaq’s bass all stars festival 2024 next year.“
Even with concerns over the festival being held near a residential area, the show was a massive success. This is definitely the first of many festivals that Shaq will put out for the fans.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend’s passion for music is never-ending. Having made no money from putting on music shows, Shaq is pushing himself to the limit just for people to have a good time.

Shaq’s love for moshpits
O’Neal previously said that he wanted to set the Guinness World Record for the biggest moshpit ever at Lost Lands.
But to confirm if the Miami Heat champion broke the record, the answer is still not available. Because, according to Guinness World Records, it is hard to define where the circle extends in a moshpit that occurs in a music event.

But that doesn’t stop Shaq from doing what he loves. He has been spotted in the moshpit himself during music festivals. The 7’1 giant has crowd-surfed and has also ended up having a mouthbleed following it. And he has also staged dived, thankfully, without injuring any fans.
