A recent drama has engulfed the Philadelphia 76ers as 33-year-old James Harden made headlines after he expressed his desire to part with the franchise.

Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller recently touched base on James Harden’s trade request during an interview with NBA TV. The NBA Hall of Famer talked about how, in his 40+ year association with the NBA, he has never come across a player who refused to play alongside a reigning MVP.
“Joel Embiid was the MVP last year, correct?” Miller questioned Harden’s intentions. “Have you ever heard of someone not wanting to play with an MVP? How could someone want out from playing against the reigning MVP?”

Using star players like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Giannis Antetokounmpo as an example, Miller expressed what the situation would be like if certain players refused to play alongside these NBA greats.

James Harden has not explicitly named Embiid as the reason for seeking a trade. Even then, it is the belief of the 5x NBA All-Star that such an opportunity isn?t something that should be exchanged.

James Harden feels it is too late to repair the relationship with the 76ers
James Harden made a bold move when he went publicly slammed the 76ers President of Basketball Operations, Daryl Morey. For now, the move has not helped in generating any returns.
There has reportedly been a lack of interest amongst the various NBA teams in acquiring the 10x NBA All-Star on their roster. Harden was recently seen attending a softball game where he was asked whether he had an ?open line of communication with the 76ers.? Harden replied that he had been patient for an offer all summer.

With his future with the NBA looking bleak, Harden has voiced his opinion about playing a season in China.
