Edwards is elevating himself in the NBA, but the team as a whole is finally playing well. There were countless questions surrounding Rudy Gobert and Karl Anthony Towns sharing the court together, but right now they are showing how they can coexist. Kevin Garnett believes that this is all happening because of Anthony Edwards.

Garnett said, “It’s flowing because Ant-Man is pushing the buttons. He is driving it. I think everybody kind of following his lead, following his energy. When they played Boston…it felt like he was making a mark…He was just overly aggressive. He was the alpha, He came off as the alpha in that.

Garnett has seen the talent that Edwards has. This made him place Edwards above the Celtics duo. He made it clear that he was the best player on the court that day.

NBA reporter Tim McMahon, who also works for ESPN, talked to a few NBA scouts after the game, and many of them said that Edwards is the next Michael Jordan. He revealed this comment to Brian Windhorst in an interview and this has now gone viral. But as we look at Anthony Edwards’s game, we can understand the reasoning behind it.

Edwards took over and scored 8 points in the OT, ending the match with a game-high 38 points. Apart from the offense, Edwards also took on the role of guarding Jayson Tatum. As Edwards is showing prowess in becoming a two-way player, he is living up to the Michael Jordan comparisons.
