The BMO stadium was filled with stars all over the stands to watch the man of the hour, Lionel Messi. The Argentinian  did not fail to make the night special with a massive 3-1 victory for Inter Miami. Although Messi couldn’t secure a goal, the scenes on the field were still dramatic, thanks to a diehard Barcelona fan who is going viral on the internet now. The reactions of stars who attended the game are flooded all over social media. Yet, famous American singer Selena Gomez managed to steal the spotlight single-handedly. 

A celebrity list with all the stars present in the game also caught the attention of soccer fans. Though NBA legend Dwyane Wade was not seen on the list, his presence at the stadium was felt. 

A dramatic night by Lionel Messi 

Looks like the Michael Jordan comparisons are real. Soccer in the States has never been celebrated this way. It’s safe to say the arrival of Messi to South Beach is a revolution now. Just like MJ, Messi is also a crowd-puller. However, the number of stars in the stands today was unbelievable. 

Prince Harry and Megan Markle, NBA superstars, music icons such as Selena Gomez, Tyga and Nas, MLB stars, etc., and plenty more made an appearance today. Though it was LA FC’s home stadium, looks like Messi turned it into his kingdom! 

Amid several highlights, a hardcore Barcelona fan decided to storm the field to hug his idol. However, his dream run was cut short after Messi’s security decided to grab him away.
