Accused of Cheating for Porsche, Gilbert Arenas’ Angry Opponent Demands Rematch Amid Hilarious Rant: “You’re the Shame of…NBA Players”

The wager between Gilbert Arenas and YouTuber Melli Monaco is heating up. Of their three challenges, Arenas recently had his easiest match, which was a 1v1 in basketball. The results were just as expected, but after the match, Monaco started to accuse Agent 0 of cheating in order to win her car.

The two had placed a bet that they would choose three sports of their choosing, and if Melli Monaco won at least one of them, she would receive one million dollars from Arenas. But if the Wizards legend wins all three, then he would get her car, which is a Porsche 911. With only one match left to decide their fate, Monaco has asked for a rematch while also bashing Arenas for cheating.

Melli demands a rematch from Gilbert Arenas

The stakes are high. And Arenas is not looking to take it easy. In the first two challenges so far, Arenas has fully dominated Melli. But after their recent 1v1, Melli responded to her fans in a YouTube video and said that Arenas is a cheater.

She said, “You need to cheat against a girl?… You needed to cheat to win. So what type of NBA player is that? You should be ashamed… You are the shame of basketball players, of NBA players.”

Melli even said that Gilbert Arenas brings shame to all basketball players. By cheating, Monaco was talking about the rule changes in pick-up basketball. This was the scoring being in 1s and 2s and Arenas using tactics like hand-checking.

It is safe to say that Monaco is now definitely worried that she might actually lose her car, so she has challenged him to a rematch. She enjoyed spending time with him, calling him “nice and funny“, but Monaco believes that in order for Arenas to keep his reputation, he should agree to a rematch with her.

We don’t know how Arenas would respond to that, but he has been taking this challenge very seriously from the start, and is showing no mercy to Monaco.

Arenas is focused on winning

When the challenge was first issued, Arenas gave off the feeling that he would be taking it easy. But little did Melli know how he was preparing for each one. For their first match, Arenas spent time learning about tennis, and also went to the court where they were supposed to be playing hours in advance.

He got warmed up and stretched, and he was fully ready by the time Melli showed up to play. Although he was new to tennis, his confidence and athleticism were enough for him to get over the hump.
