A few hours ago, the Alabama Crimson Tide faced off against the Texas Longhorns. Alabama was looking to make another addition to their 21 game win streak at home. Even though Philadelphia 76ers legend Charles Barkley never played football, he not only studied in the state of Alabama but was also born and raised there.
Taking his deep roots into consideration, it wouldn?t be hard for fans to guess who the 60-year-old was supporting. Unfortunately, the end result did not rule in Alabama?s favor, as Texas took home the victory with a score of 34-24.
The Crimson Tide entered the nonconference matchup with a No. 3 ranking. With this upsetting game, they are sure to drop in the ranks. Taking the above thought into consideration, ESPN and ESPN College Football uploaded a video only a couple of hours after the game.
Taking a clip from a particular episode of ‘SpongeBob SquarePants?, the video featured show character Patrick Star running in a slow manner. The logo of the Alabama Crimson Tide had been edited into the video so as to represent Patrick as a euphemism for the team.
Soon, Patrick would start getting chased by Sandy Cheeks, another character who was made to act as a euphemism of the Texas Longhorns in the video. Patrick was running alongside SpongeBob SquarePants, who represented the ?Rest Of The AP Top 10?.
SpongeBob watched as Patrick was captured by Sandy Cheeks through a lasso and dragged behind.

Fan reactions would hurt Charles Barkley
While a majority of the hype so far has surrounded Coach Prime’s Colorado squad, many fans got a kick out of seeing Alabama and Texas square off as well.
Unfortunately, most of them enjoyed Alabama’s loss more than Chuck, who spent three years in the state studying at Auburn University.
