Shaq wears many hats. One of them is that of a boxing fanatic. In fact, in 2019 Shaq himself stepped into the ring against 11-time world champion, Oscar De La Hoya. Probably the biggest name in the world of women’s boxing today is Claressa Shields. A large chunk of the community regards her as the greatest female boxer of all time. One of her former opponents won the super-middleweight title recently all thanks to a narrow decision victory. Despite the result, she has found herself a fan in Shaquille O’Neal, as he was seen backing her recently.
Shaquille O’Neal reminded everyone that Shields is still the better boxer and will emerge victorious if she faces her former opponent head-on in the near future.

Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshal took on each other last year and Shields emerged victorious by unanimous decision. Marshal indulged in a lot of trash-talking in the buildup to the bout. She must have been somewhat embarrassed after failing to back it up. Marshal recently won the super middleweight title against Franchon Crews. Many were anticipating a rematch between the two world champions once again and Big Diesel gave his hard take sending out a warning to Marshal and the rest of the boxing world.
A clip shared by an online boxing page showed Shields landing an awful lot of punches on Marshall. The clip was captioned, “Part 2 will be even worse! Trust me 🤞🏾❤️#GWOAT”
The Big Diesel shared the clip on his social media handle seemingly agreeing with the claim that Savannah Marshal is no match for Claressa Shields. It’ll be interesting to see if the two boxing stars will lock horns again.
