Given Lionel Messi’s dominance and success on the soccer field, it is no surprise when he is compared to MJ. Recently, Hollywood star Owen Wilson compared Messi to the 6x NBA champion.

Now, it is Inter Miami head coach Tata Martino has compared the legends. During a recent interview, Martino was asked how Messi has adapted over the years compared to NBA superstars like Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James.

The head coach noted that Messi has a similar mentality to all the legends mentioned. According to a report from Diario AS, Martino said, “So in that sense that?s what these athletes all have in common. The way they compete.?The way that they?re always trying to be the best.”

He stated the Argentinian has had the same mentality since he was 17 years old and it has not changed. He also said that these stars try to be the best to help their teams achieve success.

Owen Wilson’s interaction with Lionel Messi

Owen Wilson compared Lionel Messi to Michael Jordan while talking about the anticipation of watching the 2022 World Cup winner. The actor recounted that he once watched Jordan play and stated that the excitement of watching Messi perform is the same.
