The Golden State Warriors are continuing their roster retooling by signing forward Dario Saric. Dario is a free agent with now a 1-year deal in his kitty. Dario’s agents, Mike Linderman and Jeff Schwartz, spoke to ESPN about the deal on Saturday, however, didn’t reveal too much about the deal.

The 6’10 Croatian star is now going to enter his 7th NBA season. Owing to an ACL injury, he did not play in the 2020-21 season. The versatile player is something the Warriors need right now. Adding Saric gives the Warriors a dependable shooter in their second line of offence. His prowess makes him versatile to work with both Curry and Paul.

Dario has a career 3-point percentage of 36, which blends well with his height. This also gives the Warriors a much-needed player of size. Further, Saric is already a well-defined player and fits well with the Warriors’ win-now approach. A major reason behind the Warriors’ success is their skill of making timely decisions in high-pressure situations. Saric’s high IQ on-ball and off-ball approach to the game complements the organization’s approach. His play style fits well with their selfless team game.
