Dennis Rodman admits to having an abysmal relationship with a teammate. In the words of HotRod, “We didn’t see eye to eye.” He revealed that the chemistry between him and his teammate was just limited to the hardwood. Perhaps it was their off-court relationship that played into Rodman’s early departure from San Antonio.

Obviously, feuds between teammates have existed in the NBA ever since the league was established. While the feud between Rodman and his Spurs running mate might not be the biggest in its 77-year history, sources suggest that the friction was always evident.

Dennis Rodman and the Admiral; a silent feud

In an interview with VladTV, Dennis Rodman came clean about his feudal misconceptions about a San Antonio Spurs legend. David Robinson and Dennis Rodman never got along with each other off-court, Rodman confessed. During the interview, he reflected on his time with the NBA franchise.

The interviewer asked Rodman, “You didn’t really get along with Robinson, is that a fair assessment?” to which the 5-time NBA champion replied, “We didn’t see eye to eye.

The 5-time champion did mention how he cherished sharing the court with Robinson. Unfortunately, “It’s just off the court that we couldn’t get along”, he concluded.

Of course, this is not the first time that Rodman has had personal issues with NBA stars. Fans hold Rodman’s stint with the Bad Boy Pistons and Jordan’s Bulls in high regard. But the latter years of his career are often overlooked. Particularly, his strange partnership with Lakers legends Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

In typical Rodman fashion, the 2-time all-star requested a break during the regular season. He stated the continuous bickering between Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal as the reason. He admitted that the locker room environment was affecting his mental state.

The management showed their support and granted HotRod some time off during the season. Various sources revealed that Rodman was spotted in Vegas gambling at the casino. While this has been known to relax Rodman, the star duo did not take it well.
