“Way to Cheat”: Fans Evoke Outrage After $400,000,000 Rich Shaquille O’Neal Disrobe Business Secrets

It’s a known fact Shaquille O’Neal is a genius when it comes to investments. Furthermore, it looks like he is a mastermind when it comes to savings as well! Rather, a trickster, as some fans recently claimed. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has his own ways to solve problems. Moreover, Big Diesel has often been admired for the same. However, in a recent revelation, Shaq got criticized big time on social media. As much as fans love the NBA legend’s heart to provide for people, there seems to be some hate for his business tricks.

Well, ‘tax’ is a fearful word for many. Definitely not for Shaquille O’Neal, though. During a podcast appearance, the 4-time NBA champion shared a trick he learned to escape tax. Though it did sound “genius“, several fans had a different perspective on it that created a debate on social media. 

Shaquille O’Neal gets demolished for his business tricks

$400 million worth Shaq made the most of his money from his business ventures. How is O’Neal so efficient in this? Well, Shaq has often shared how he learned a lot from leaders and friends, but also from books especially. The Lakers legend values education. One book which improved Big Diesel’s knowledge about business was ‘Starting a Business: For Dummies’. 

The 2000 MVP revealed in a podcast, “I learned about business, not from college. I learned about business from a book…First thing I did was incorporate my family…And then I put my mom on salary and put my dad on salary and I got them an office and got them a car.”

A co-host explained, “Instead of giving it to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service), you’re giving it to your family and you can write it off.” This allowed Shaq’s parents to make a collective amount of nearly two million a year, which made them very proud of their son. 

Shaquille O’Neal believes it was the “best day of his life”. However, fans are totally on another page and against the 4-time champion’s “trick”.

The social media users did not hold back against this revelation from Shaq. While Shaq did find a loophole to evade tax, fans do not seem to appreciate it.
