Big Chicken started as a franchise in 2018 and is built around Shaquille O’Neal’s personality. It offers guests an inside look into the life and tastes of the NBA superstar.

The menu has Shaq’s personal touch. From chicken sandwiches, popcorn chicken and tenders to sliders, salads and fries, the menu reflects the food Shaq enjoyed as a child.

“This is my creation,” Shaq playfully remarked. “Coming from where we come from, we had to eat chicken a lot. Chicken sandwiches, chicken tacos, chicken everything. When the opportunity to create this franchise arose, we sold over 250 of them. This is the first one to open in Houston, and I just wanted people to come out and try it. If you like it, cool. If not, let us know so we can make this one of the best restaurants out here.”
