The Quai 54 Streetball Championship was held in its twentieth avatar this year. The best of the best turned up to do what the crowd loves to see them do – hoop and dunk. The event took place at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris on July 1 and 2. The contestants showing up with their skills were Tyler Currie, Chris Staples, Piotr Grabowski and New Williams.
The Quai 54 has been around for twenty years and brings out the best of the best in the world of NBA and basketball for a unique championship.
All about the Quai 54 XX Event

The Championship event this time wasn’t just about dunking, but music and hip-hop as well. There were a couple of concerts during the event too. With fifteen shows, turntables and ten DJs bringing in the music, the audience was in for a blast.
After all, the event is the brainchild of two people closely related to the world of basketball and hip-hop and has become the world’s biggest streetball contest. The videos of the event are now on social media networks, wowing fans of the game and NBA superstars all over the world. The Quai championship has a Women’s Championship as well, in which eight teams took part in six games for the title.

The dunk contest that took place on the second day of the event gave the crowd an idea of how talented their favorite dunkers were, and the perfect show of their skills and physical fitness. In the viewing stands were Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic and others.
The Quai 54 event was a discussion point for the NBA fans
There are few basketball events and championships outside of the NBA and the FIBA. So, it’s always good to see other individuals and entities putting in their minds and resources to come up with an event that increases the reach of the game and gives the players an opportunity to compete in a positive atmosphere.
