The Golden State Warriors have added a great veteran presence to their team at the cost of trading away a young valuable asset. The move was made to make the team an instant contender. But keeping the main core may be a bit of a task with this four-time NBA champion’s $100 million claim.
For the most part of their careers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have taken care of things on offense while Draymond Green took responsibility on the defensive end of the floor. It even got to the point that the two stars heavily relied on him to fight their verbal battles as well.

Draymond Green’s image in the league has been tarnished for quite some time. Green was considered a dirty player before he turned things around.
But one thing that never changed was his bulletproof demeanor of taking all the hate and criticism with a smiling face. Green amidst hatred went on to grow some tough skin and picked up some great trash-talking skills along the way.
His piercing remarks were so good that even his teammates started to rely on him to spew some vicious words for them on their behalf. Recently, both the Splash Brothers were guests on the latest episode of Through The Wire.
Curry and Thompson have been going up against Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes in the PGA Tour. This led one of the hosts to ask them about their plans for dealing with the verbal assaults.
To that, Thompson said, “Oh, we’re gonna be chirping. Yeah, we got Draymond out there and he’s a great talker. So, any ammo I need, I just ask Draymond, ‘Draymond, give me something’.”

What does the future hold for the Warriors’ big three?
The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green has been one of the most successful big threes in the past decade. The three have managed to bring four NBA championships in the span of eight years.
However this year, Green may end up breaking the trio and joining another team after he claimed that he deserved a $100 million contract and became a free agent, choosing not to opt into his player option.
