Shaquille O’Neal has been passionate about music from a young age. At just 14 years of age, after seeing Public Enemy live for the first time, he became fixated on DJing. Now after a very successful career, O’Neal has announced the launch of his own music festival, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars.
The festival is happening on September 16th at Panther Island Pavilion in Dallas/Fort Worth and is expected to host around 10,000 fans.

The event will showcase a vibrant food truck village. Attendees can feast on a selection of dishes and join in the fun activities and entertainment. To top it off, the event will have captivating performances from renowned icons in the music industry.
According to DallasNews, the lineup includes Alison Wonderland, Kai Wachi, Sullivan King, Crankdat, Jantsen, Layz, Emorfik, Hairitage, Leotrix, Charlitz Web, Soltan and Ruvlo b2b Celo.
A community-driven event with a touch of Texas
Shaquille O’Neal is no stranger to Texas. He spent part of his childhood in San Antonio, playing basketball at Cole High School. In addition to this, Shaq has also made headlines recently for his massive new home purchase in Carrollton, Texas. He spent $1,224,900 on the luxurious property that spans over 8,000 square feet. Since moving to Texas, Shaquille O’Neal has also been seen out in public, including being a generous neighbor.
Social media posts have shown O’Neal feeding a homeless woman and giving her cash as well as buying a random lucky family a washing machine and 75-inch TV at a local Best Buy.
