This is that time of the year when trade talks and contract signings take center stage in NBA circles. The 2022 NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, have been garnering quite a lot of attention during this time. Answering the numerous concerns about the team’s core, ace player Draymond Green decided to stay in the Bay Area for another four years. Prior to that, the Dubs traded youngster Jordan Poole in exchange for veteran Chris Paul. Now, on the books, Stephen Curry and Co are one of the most star-packed sides out there. But are they unstoppable?

Fancy nicknames like “death lineup” may actually be an understatement for a team featuring Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Chris Paul. Nonetheless, many fans think such a superstar lineup still cannot make much of an impact.

The Dubs’ core lineup boasts championship pedigree like no other team in contemporary NBA. Their ‘Big Three’, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, have won four championships with the team. Alongside the trio is Andrew Wiggins, whose exploits were instrumental to the Warriors championship win in 2022.

It is to this team that the front office added a veteran superstar in Chris Paul. CP3’s play-making abilities will surely work wonders for the team. Furthermore, unlike many fans and pundits, Draymond Green remarked he has sky-high expectations from CP and his prowess.
