Months After Boosting $500,000,000 in NBA Franchise, Former Bulls Star Dwyane Wade Set to Further Expand His Business Portfolio by Returning to Chicago

Two years after hanging his boots, one might think Dwyane Wade would just sit back and enjoy his retirement. But that’s not the case with him. He’s even more active and involved with the game now, more than he was in the last few seasons. We all know that the previous seasons were a bit too much for him as a player. Age caught up with him, and eventually, he gave up and retired after his two seasons in Miami and Cleaveland.

Growing up, Wade looked up to the Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and tried to model his game after him. Not just his game, Wade also took a page out of MJ’s successful business ventures and has tried to mirror his success to his own.

After his successful venture in Jazz, Flash is looking to further his interest, moving on to greater heights. He’s possibly looking ahead at a WNBA franchise ownership. The Miami Heat legend is sitting at an estimated $175M net worth, looking to increase the figure with multiple moves on sight.

But his primary focus at present is bagging the ownership rights to the WNBA team Chicago Sky.

According to the Sun-Times report, Wade has explicitly confirmed his interest in joining the Sky ownership group.

Wade said, ?I?m an investor in a lot of things, and if I can lend my name and brand to something that makes sense that I see a future in, I always try to do that,? He added, ?I?ve taken a deep look at the WNBA, a deep look at the Chicago Sky and a deep look at if this is a place that Dwyane Wade should be part of.”

The 3x NBA champion has just started, and at this rate, even Sky is not the limit for the Flash.
