Only recently did the 18-year-old announce his commitment to USC. However, moving away from his budding basketball career, the eldest son of LeBron James is sending shockwaves with his rumored girlfriend. All eyes were on the couple as Peyton Gelfuso shared images from her Europe vacation.

This time, Bronny seems to have got the seal of approval from a member of his family as well. Maybe there is some truth to these rumors. Let’s see how they started.

The rumors of their romance began when Bronny James was still a student at Sierra Canyon. Gelfuso was his batch mate. She is an Instagram influencer who was also a multi-sport athlete at the school. After marking her attendance at several of Sierra Canyon’s basketball games, the dating rumors began flourishing. They gained more traction after the two attended prom together.

Neither Gelfuso nor Bronny James has formally addressed their relationship. However, judging from the 19-year-old’s frequent appearance in her Instagram comments, NBA fans have come to the conclusion that they indeed are together.

Up until now, it was just the USC commit who commented on Gelfuso’s travel updates on Instagram. But that all changed in her recent post.

As Gelfuso enjoys her getaway in Europe, she shared a few of her memories from the trip. She posted a thread of images in an elegant black dress in front of a scenic background. The peculiar thing was Bronny James was nowhere to be found in the comments section. No alarms are going off yet though, as the 19-year-old did like the image.

Furthermore, 16-year-old Bryce James also followed his older brother’s lead. Both the brothers liking her pictures might be an indication of Gelfuso being close with the family. While the focus is still on Bronny’s collegiate career, fans are curious if he will find his partner early on as his father did.

Playing for USC, James is joining some of the best prospects of his class. This includes Isiah Collier, who he seemed to connect well with during the McDonald’s All-American game. While LeBron James has daydreamed about sharing the NBA floor with his elder son, it all comes down to how Bronny James fairs out with USC.

If he can carry his high school interest into college, it could be just one year before we see him in the NBA.
