Hasan Minhaj, the famous stand-up comedian, recently sat down to take an interview of president Obama. They were seen discussing a range of topics from his presidency to his life after being the POTUS. Minhaj also brought up LeBron James for a rather interesting reason.

In 2016 when Obama was still in power, Justice Antonin Scalia passed away in the month of February. It is within the president’s right to nominate a supreme court justice during the sudden demise of the reigning Justice. He threw the name of Merrick Garland into the hat, but he later found out that he cannot nominate the Supreme Court justice from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Minhaj gave Obama some ‘valuable’ advice and said, “What I would have loved when the Merrick Garland thing happened, I wish you would have done the things that LeBron does after calls. You’ve seen the meme where he’s like…” Obama burst out laughing on Minhaj’s take. The LeBron James meme is still shared thousands of times almost everyday.

A few years back Obama was seen giving his interesting take on the GOAT debate and if LeBron should be called the GOAT or not.
