Hailing from Serbia, the center has more love for horse racing than shooting hoops and with his stoic sense of humor has won hearts of millions.

During his time in the league Jokic has developed into one of the finest centers, leading the attack from behind. Despite his immense popularity the Serb is quite laidback. Not even cracking a smile after winning the title, many consider Jokic to be the humblest person in the league – including Boston Celtics legends.

Boston icons believe Jokic to be the humblest NBA star ever

Speaking to Paul Pierce about the big man, Kevin Garnett claimed he has never seen a player like him, stating, “First off, man, Joker looks like the humblest motherf***** I have ever seen,” to which Paul Pierce replied, “He is.”

Not believing that a person could exude such calmness after winning a championship, KG was in disbelief. He further stated, “I have never seen a player who’s won the NBA championship and was dormant, he was more into his daughter, he was off!”

Paul Pierce felt the same way and even went on to compare the Joker with a marvel character, stating, “You know what that was like? When you watched Avengers and Thanos hit you with the snap? And he just went to the grassy knolls? He was chilling.” An apt description for the NBA champion!

Going on to give an example of his now infamous ‘parade’ clip, Garnett maintained his shock. Not believing that Jokic didn’t care much about the championship, KG reiterated his point saying, “It was the humblest s**t I have ever seen.”

Jokic reiterates his ‘parade’ claims to Denver fans

Easily the most iconic moment of the NBA finals was Jokic’s reaction to finding out the victory parade date. When questioned by a reporter if he was looking forward to the parade, instead of being excited about it, Jokic was in fact gutted as he found out it was on Thursday, stating, “I have to go home.”
