The Golden State Warriors have four championships in the last eight years. Their run has been one for the storybooks. Their core has been made up of players that were drafted by the team, and they had already won a title before Kevin Durant arrived on the scene. The bedrock of this run has been Stephen Curry whose tendency to make tough shots end up rescuing the squad.

However, his partner-in-crime, his splash brother has been there for him, grinding it through injuries. What would he have done if he wasn?t a basketball player?

Stephen Curry points out Thompson’s knowledge of current events
During Capitol One?s event, The Match, Bleacher Report sponsored Hot Seat, a press conference, after the celebrity golfing event was done. This program also featured the Warriors’ terrific trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson?and Draymond Green. The trio were going through comments posted by fans and responded accordingly. Green reads a question, ?If your partner wasn?t an athlete, what job will he be good at??
Apparently, Curry didn?t even need to think twice before replying to this question. The Guard reveals, “Klay would be a great newspaper editor. He knows the most random facts, he spends time scouring through the San Francisco Chronicle in the Wall Street Journal, pre game, that is his routine. He has a fascination for current events and I think he will be a great, editor, editor-in-Chief, in the, the, the.. Portland Tribune.?

Thompson also had an intriguing take on the subject. He believes his backcourt sharpshooting partner is going to be an administrator. The type of administrator who works with kids. The Shooting Guard also envisioned a rather fascinating scenario.

It was a warm session
The Bleacher Report session had a cozy environment when the Warriors teammates took centerstage. Wherever Steph and Klay communicated with each other, they had free-flowing exchanges. It didn?t take a moment for the three-point maestro to identify the job profile of his Splash brother had Thompson not made it to pro ball. The confidence he has in his voice along with the knowledge about his teammate?s habits indicate a bond that has now indeed spanned a decade.

Thompson also had an informative reply about his visualization of Curry outside basketball. He gave a thorough answer, noticing the ?profiteering? angle in his long-term NBA teammate. No matter what trajectory the Warriors will take, the team became a medium for both the Splash brothers to forge a special bond.
