The NBA seems like an easy deal when you look at it from a distance. While you see a million people on open courts, imagine the minuscule number that makes an NBA team. 450 players are part of the rosters and of them, maybe 300 get playing time. So, while it may look easy, the sport is grueling. As exhausting as the actual game, is the training that NBA players go through. While all of them are athletic freaks, their training takes them to a whole other level. Naturally, duplicating the workout isn’t easy for normal humans.
Sadly, for Druski, he found this out the hard way. Training with a 6’1″ guard should sound relatively easy, but?it had Druski cursing out and eventually quitting.
NBA workouts are not meant for Druski

Trae Young has developed into one of the most dynamic point guards in the NBA today. Whether it is his limitless range or his elite passing, Young is one of the most impactful players in the game today.
While his arguments with the coach have stymied down, his personality seems to mesh well with stars. Whether as the villain of New York or with rappers like Lil Baby, Young has become a major fan favorite. So, the interaction with Druski was no surprise.
.@Druski decided he wanted to finally come out & work with me💪🏽😤👊🏽

Druski planned to join Trae on one of his workouts. The Hawks point guard shared a clip of their entire journey, mocking the Maryland rapper afterward. In the first clip, the two did some running exercises. Druski sounded excited about it, claiming he, “played Running Back in high school.”
After a while, he was exhausted though. As Trae casually trudged up the sandy hill, Druski hung back. “Fu** this s**t man…I am not ever doing this.” While Trae tried to cheer him by saying he was “halfway there”, Druski declined. “That’s what they all say.”?
As Trae continues to work on his game and training in the offseason, Shaquille O’Neal offered an insight into the star PG’s mindset.
Shaq explains the Hawks’ dysfunction
On a podcast, Shaq detailed the reason for the friction in Atlanta’s locker room. He pointed to the minimal returns since their miraculous 2021 run and claimed that Young’s desire to win caused animosity.
With rumors of a trade to the Lakers, maybe the installation of new coach Quinn Snyder changes the Hawks’ trajectory. Either way, the offseason promises to be wholly exciting for the Atlanta fanbase.
