Kevin Durant is shrugged off the starting five. KD was picked only to be benched by a Jordan fanatic on Instagram reacting to a viral Twitter post. Being a three-way player, the 13-time All-Star might be appalled by this exclusion.

A few days ago, HoopMixDaily on Twitter posted a picture. LeBron James, Micheal Jordan, Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Durant were the focus of the photograph captioned, “if all six were on the same team and at their peak, who would be pushed off the bench?” Ain’t that a tough one!
Reactions have been pouring in ever since. One of the fans (who definitely seems like a Jordan jockey) took to Instagram to have his say in the question of the century.
The fan commented, “me personally, I think it’s KD.”
This spectator gave some logical reasons backing his claim. He stated how everyone out of his fantasy starting 5 is more than capable of cleaning up the boards – excluding Curry, as he’s the only point guard off the lot with a monstrous shooting range.
He then emphasized how LeBron, Jordan and Kobe’s defensive acumen holds much greater significance as compared to the scoring abilities of Easy Money Sniper.
Kevin Durant numbers tell a different story
Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the greatest scorers in the game of basketball. The Durantula with his gifted set of driving and shooting skills averaged 29 points per game with 6.7 rebounds 5 assists per game and during the 2022-2023 season for the 47 games he played.

KD has the knack to snatch games away from the opposition just through his offensive skillset. This factor pretty much makes up for the gaps he might have in his defensive ability.
Some might argue that the 13-time All-Star should not be the one to come off the bench while some might agree with the point made by the Jordan fan. There’s no denying the fact that Kevin Durant, his alleged behavioral issues notwithstanding, is the most versatile scorer in the NBA with a net worth of around $200 million. It’s a certainty that he’ll be a future Hall of Fame inductee.
