She said, “I even looked around my classroom there’s only about eight to ten women and the class is like thirty-forty. So I’m like okay, this is interesting like maybe this isn’t a field that is known to us women or we didn’t get exposure to us as women and that’s what I want to see how can I break that barrier.”
When Jasmine noticed the scarcity of women in her field, she realized the problem. This motivated her to push against societal barriers and have a career of her own in the field of sports management. Her ambition was to open the door for herself and keep it open so that more women could enter the management and business sides of sports.
“Then when I enter the world, continue to pay it forward and bring everybody in,” Jasmine explained.
About the changes in recent years, she said, “You’re definitely starting to see, like, okay, women are in sports.” Seems like Jasmine got her genes from her legendary father who was known for proving everyone wrong.

Michael Jordan’s legacy is quite unparalleled. Even though his kids are doing quite well for themselves they probably know just how rare their father’s accomplishments are. And in case they forget, it seems that MJ is happy to remind them!
It was reported that Jordan once humbled his sons when they played a game of basketball together. His oldest son Jeffrey said, “Now I understand why we don’t do this more often.”
