NBA master trainer, Chris Johnson, is the COO of Jus Hoops. He’s leading the venture with Cory Smith, who’s the lead basketball trainer at the academy. The duo is famous for enhancing many basketball players’ skills, including LeBron James, Rajon Rondo, Aaron Gordon, and Jordan Clarkson.
They train crucial aspects of games, such as movement, shooting skills, shooting positions, and foot movement. As good movement is essential for getting into favorable positions and making plays. They also help players improve their shooting methods, such as grip, release, and follow-through. They also pay attention to shooting stances and have a balanced and stable stance before taking a shot. This helps players generate power and accuracy in their shots.
By working in these areas, the trainers help NBA players enhance their overall performance and become more effective on the court.

They’re not just responsible for training NBA professionals; they also train young prospects to improve their skills. Young talents such as 2004 NBA draft top prospect, Mikkey Williams, and 2023 Charlotte Hornets rookie Amari trained at Jus Hoops.

Adding to this list of famous young prospects is none other than Dwyane Wade’s son. Zaire took to Instagram to share his experience at the camp from last year.
Zaire Wade attended an overseas training camp
Zaire recently shared a post on his Instagram stories that was a repost from Loop Sports Management, a FIBA-licensed basketball academy.
Their Instagram handle posted about a recently held basketball camp in Japan. Zaire attended the camp and wooed the trainers and children with his skills.
This isn’t the first time Wade’s son made an appearance. Zaire has trained under the experts and even played 12 games last year in Salt Lake City. He averaged 18 minutes per contest before he suffered a knee injury. That’s when he got ruled out in March 2022.

The 21-year-old participated in the camp in Japan last year, until this year in February, when he signed with Cape Town Tigers in Basketball Africa League.
Tigers recruited Wade, the son of NBA legend Dwyane Wade, after competing in the BAL Combine in Paris. He practices like his father and performs like his father.
