Kyrie Irving made headlines recently for his trade to the Dallas Mavericks. He moved from the Brooklyn Nets for two other players. While the media was busy reporting this, Bill Simmons went on to tweet some other intricacies of the deal. He revealed some inner information that not everybody was privy to – and that too in a simple tweet. This, surprisingly, caught the interest of the player himself who had a sweet reply to the news.

Bill Simmons is no lightweight in the world of the NBA and sports as well. The podcaster and writer is the founder of the pop culture website, The Ringer. He has earlier written for Jimmy Kimmel as well. He joined ESPN in 2001 and became a face there pretty quickly. Post that, he has worked with HBO as well.
