The Chris Paul situation is finally clear. After a trade that sees the Washington Wizards welcoming Jordan Poole, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Ryan Rollins and two future picks, Paul will play for the Golden State Warriors. With things sorted, Stephen Curry, who was Poole’s teammate, has taken the time to clear the air regarding rumors of a beef between them. The rumors started after Curry was ejected from the game because of his antics to vent out his frustration over Poole’s strategy in a match back in January.

This wasn’t the first time that Poole had some issues with his team. Back in 2022, Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole during practice. While the Warriors are retaining Draymond, Klay Thompson will now be shifting to the Free Agent concept.

It looks like the players have put it allbehind them, with Stephen Curry posting a video on Instagram Stories, thanking Jordan Poole for his time with the Warriors.

He said, “Now that the trade is actually final, I’d like to come over here to say to JP how much I appreciate the four years, brother. You’re a champion. You grew up right in front of everybody’s face… Your first year was rough in terms of injuries, trying to find a way to going to the G league and coming back, and help us finish 15-5 down the stretch in your second year, to winning the championship in your third year, and fight till the end. Can’t wait to see you blossom, big fellow. Can’t wait to see you shine. Good luck to you.”

He also had a message for Chris Paul in the same video, “CP, can’t wait to ride with you, brother. It’ll be different than with us on the same side.”
