Weeks after being drafted as the #1 overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs, Wembanyama was preparing for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. That’s when Spears was allegedly manhandled by Wemby’s security team.

The Victor Wembanyama-Britney Spears drama is getting messier by the day. It all started ahead of the NBA Summer League, at a restaurant in Las Vegas, the night before Wemby’s big debut.
When the Spurs star was on his way to dinner, Spears approached him, but Wemby’s security officials allegedly manhandled her. This led to a string of allegations against Wemby and his security team on social media platforms.
Moreover, Spears also asked the French star and the San Antonio Spurs to apologize for her ‘traumatic’ experience. It seems Spears has not had enough of the drama.

The Oops! I did it again singer took to her Instagram recently and posted a cryptic message. “You will smile again” read her message posted as a quote on the social media platform. The post had a rather interesting caption by Britney, reading. “When’s that God ???”.
Following the controversy, Wembanyama has given his side of the story; Spears’ husband has defended the Spurs star and a whole lot of allegations have surfaced online. However, the basketball star or the Spurs are yet to apologize.

The latest footage from Spears and Wembanyama’s incident in Las Vegas, gives a whole new angle to the controversy. It seems like the singer hit herself in the face when security personnel pushed her hands off the basketball star.

Per Vegas police officials, there will be no charges filed against the security guard, according to NBC News. They referred to newly released surveillance footage from the hotel where this incident took place last Wednesday.
