The Golden State Warriors changed the course of their franchise recently by making a dramatic trade to acquire 12-time All-Star Chris Paul. Although there have been rumors regarding Paul’s position on the team, it appears that he may be added to the starting lineup. He might possibly take the place of center, Kevon Looney. The tallest player in this lineup, Andrew Wiggins, is only 6’7″. The team will thus have a rather short lineup. Although the lineup – consisting of Paul, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Wiggins – is unquestionably thrilling, it also raises questions about the team’s lack of size and therefore their defensive strength.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry is swinging away on his Underrated Golf Tour. Recently, a Brooklyn Nets icon paid him a visit to show his support and managed to leave Curry in awe.

While Steph primarily gained recognition for his basketball prowess, he is no new name in the golfing world. Stephen Curry has successfully transferred his extraordinary accuracy and expertise from the basketball floor to the golf course. Curry displayed scores of 74, 74, 71 and 86 while taking part in four rounds on the Korn Ferry Tour, a developmental tour under the PGA Tour. Despite not making the cut in either of his two matches, golf professionals believe Curry to be able do so if he devotes his entire attention to the sport. Apart from this, he has even played golf against Charles Barkley!

Stephen Curry is so passionate about golf that he even started his own golf tour. The Pro-Golfer, Will Lowery is an ambassador of the tour. He is also one of the few African Americans who has been able to transition from playing professional golf to a career in golf media. He and Curry first met more than ten years ago with their shared backgrounds in Charlotte, North Carolina, and their undying passion for golf bringing them together.

The importance of exposing young people of different backgrounds and races to a sport that could otherwise be out of their reach was a common belief that they both shared. Furthermore, they shared a sincere desire to create a platform for junior athletes to compete on.
