The platform launched by Meta has garnered over 50 million users already and that is just in two days! The plan to launch this application has been in the works since October 2022. Since Mark Zuckerberg owns Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, he already has a well-established team of experts. And the professionals took a page directly out of Twitter’s playbook to create a platform suitable for instantaneous conversations between celebrities and regular people.
Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, things have looked in a dire state for the media giant. Musk?s decisions have polarized people across the aisle. To get the upper hand in the situation, Meta launched an ambitious alternative to Twitter. In terms of prowess, the Meta owner who has 14% of the shares is a typical example of ?been there, done that? and the latest project only substantiates it.

Naturally, the success of Threads has sent waves of insecurity among Twitter management, especially Elon Musk. He rolled out Premium services like Twitter Blue and made the blue tick mark a part of it to improve finances.
