UNO, one of the most popular games around the world, needs no introduction. With family-friendly rules and an opportunity for multiple players to play at once, the game is a go-to pastime for millions of people around the world. It seems like Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is also a fan. Recently, the makers of the game put an end to a long controversy that has gripped the internet for quite some time now.
Sharing the news about the rule change on Instagram, the 38-year-old’s wife, Savannah, had a message, suggesting that they play this game during their free time.

There has been a huge debate about UNO, owned by a $7.6 billion worth company, Mattel. Can a player draw a +2 card on top of another +2 card?
This question is quite vital as it determines whether the next player needs to pick up two cards, and the other player picks four cards, and so forth. The game’s official handle on Twitter clarified this doubt.
“The rumors are true. You cannot officially stack a Draw 2 on a Draw 2“, wrote UNO’s handle on Twitter. Savannah James, the wife of four-time NBA champion LeBron James, shared this rule on Instagram.
Interestingly, she doesn’t sound too happy with this rule change, as she had a message. She wrote, “bullsh*t“ which was also shared by James on his Instagram account.
The couple have been together since they were teenagers; it looks like the secret to their long and happy marriage might be playing games such as UNO and spending quality time together.
James has an affinity for card games
Being good at UNO is no big deal for King James. After all, he has been playing card games for a long time. Interestingly, Golden State Warriors veteran guard Chris Paul once revealed how James and other teammates played cards.

This happened when they were representing Team USA at the Olympics in 2008. “That is when you see a lot of the relationships that you see were sort of forged”, said Paul about their time spent together training in Las Vegas.
Interestingly, he also revealed there were 35 nights when the team members stayed up and played card games all night long. This was covered in ‘The Redeem Team’ documentary which is produced by LeBron and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.
