The oldest tradition on the NBA calendar is finally upon us. One of the most exciting games that the NBA has in store this year is the Los Angeles Lakers battling it out with their franchise rivals, the Boston Celtics, for the first time on Christmas Day. However, James couldn’t care less about the Christmas Day matchup, since he says the only thing he is looking forward to is watching his little daughter Zhuri open presents. However, thanks to Savannah James, not just James but his followers get to partake in the celebrations as well.
While LeBron James gears up for his NBA Christmas Day clash against his arch-rivals, the Boston Celtics, yuletide celebrations have already begun at the James household, tipped off by none other than the star of the family, Zhuri, herself.

James’ youngest, Zhuri James, kicked off the festivities as she serenaded the family members with an instrumental on her little pink guitar that looked like a gift from Santa. The nine-year-old took center stage near the fireplace and yelled her heart out while playing the guitar she most likely received as a Christmas present this year. James’ wife, Savannah James, shared this wholesome moment with her Instagram followers as she posted a video of little Zhuri playing the instrument. She captioned the story, “SANTA WAS WILDIN’,” followed by a peeking eye emoji, suggesting the guitar was indeed her suggestion.
However, after enjoying Zhuri’s performance, it is now time for James to get back on the court for the 18th time on Christmas Day. But will he play today? James has once again made an appearance on the injury report.

LeBron James has played 17 Xmas games so far and has amassed a total of 460 points, enough to propel him to the top of the all-time leading scorers on the Christmas Day chart. Moreover, he also holds first place in the most number of games played by a player on December 15th, with 17 games under his belt. He has also dished out the most assists (119) in Christmas games. However, he is tied for the first spot with Dwayne Wade for the most number of Christmas wins, with 10 victories. A record he’ll be looking forward to breaking if he suits up tonight.
