Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo are two of the most popular names in the NBA fraternity at the moment. Fans love their insane moves on the court and looks like their colleagues end up surprised by them too. Recently, their NBA colleagues sat down for a podcast to discuss and describe some moves that have astounded and stunned them.

In a free-wheeling conversation, the NBA players discussed what it was like to face Giannis and Luka on the basketball court. And, there were some interesting takeaways.

In the Podcast titled Podcast P, Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers and Tyrese Haliburton, who plays for the Indiana Pacers, sat down to discuss Luka Doncic. While Paul spoke about Luka Doncic’s seeing strategy on the court that others seldom see, Tyrese supported the idea. And then, George spoke about the ‘No Look’ that Giannis Antetokounmpo puts on while playing.

He elaborates, “Luka sees sh*t, that’s like, ‘bro, how?’ When he do the shoot and then, pass behind, that is the coldest.”

And while he began the conversation, Tyrese Haliburton, who plays for the Indiana Pacers, added to it, “He did that pass against us. He threw that pass against us on the baseline, when he was trapped, and he jumped, and he whipped it. The ball was like, bent. And I was like behind him. He threw it and turned it around. I said ‘Nah…. That was special, you are special.’

As the conversation went deeper, it became all the more insightful. Paul spoke about Giannis and pointed out the one aspect that he doesn’t like about his playing style. He said, “I don’t like his no-look, he be like” and gestured to imitate one of Giannis’ movements in court.

All you need to know about the ‘no-look’ pass and the ‘pass-behind’

The pass-behind move, as the name suggests, is when the player sends the ball flying to another teammate standing behind them. And when it comes to the ‘no-look pass’, the player passes the ball without looking at the person to who he’s trying to pass. This creates confusion for the rivals. Very few, and only the best of the best, do it as gracefully as Giannis does.

The two have, of course, seen the other two that they talk about in the podcast at close quarters. So the definition of the movements is spot-on. Giannis has snatched headlines several times because of his superior gameplay.

Gianni’s 6’11 frame allows him more options to be at the top of the game. However, his ‘no-look’  is something that’s rare on the court. Very few players before Gianni have done it – and done it so well. Giannis Antetokounmpo, the ‘Greek Freak’ as fans call him, made his NBA debut in 2013 with the Milwaukee Bucks. It is since then that his popularity is shooting off the charts!

In fact, his popularity is crossing borders, with people in China calling him and his brothers “the letter brothers” lovingly. People are loving them across the world.
