Indiana Pacers came with a surprise gift much before Christmas. The underdogs of the tournament surprised the NBA world in the inaugural In-Season tournament. In the quarter, they defeated Boston Celtics the top team, in the Eastern Conference. And the wonders didn’t cease in the semis as they knocked out the Milwaukee Bucks.
As many commentators have expressed surprise over the stunning tournament run of the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton’s fans expect him to lift the NBA Cup. But others took time to add a pinch of humor to the story.

Indiana Pacers are going to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the finals of the In-Season tournament. Cruising into finals gave rise to many, making it a part of their discussion. In the show ‘It is what it is’ hosted by Cam’Ron and Ma$e, the two discussed the recent stunning run of the Pacers.
While commenting on the same Cam’ron jokingly said that NBA wanted the finals to be played between LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo but they did a complete makeover of the tournament. He said, “I know the NBA wanted to be LeBron against Giannis, y’all f*ked that right on up. Congratulations for doing that.”
NBA world expected the Milwaukee Bucks to go into the finals against the Lakers. But even 37 37-point performance by two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo could not change the course of the Pacers. And the man of the moment, Tyrese Haliburton exactly knew what made the difference.

Some believe the Pacers will eventually get defeated by the Lakers and that they just made the job easier for them. But Tyrese men will try to show that they are a hard nut to crack. The Pacers didn’t let the Bucks rise again even though they tried to score 43-28 in the third quarter. The unforgiving Pacers cut their wings shot to gain the victory.
And Tyrese is mindful of how their side surprised the fans. He said after the victory how his men believed in themselves. Haliburton said, “I think this was the whole point of the in-season tournament, to see a young group like ourselves compete and come out here and fight. I think we’re shocking the world right now. Nobody expected us to be here except for the guys in the locker room.”
