With Bucks Down 22 at Halftime, Damian Lillard Faces the Wrath of Fans as Jrue Holiday Serves to Bostonians’ Delight 

The biggest ‘blockbuster’ trade of this off-season is not bringing in blockbuster results. The Milwaukee Bucks shocked the world when they traded Jrue Holiday to bring in Damian Lillard from Portland Trail Blazers. They hoped that by doing so, they would be able to create their own Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dame, and Khris Middleton.

However, things are not going according to their plans. The Bucks faced the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday having won two of their three games from this regular season. While they were looking for a victory, things ended horribly for them. Milwaukee failed to take a lead in the game and had to settle for a disappointing 111-130 loss.

Fans are not happy with Damian Lillard

When Lillard joined the Bucks, he made high promises of helping the team. While he was able to fulfill his promise in previous games, last night, however, he failed miserably. The guard scored just 15 points with six assists with two rebounds. Giannis also performed in a similar fashion, putting up 16 points with four rebounds. Naturally, fans were not happy with Dame’s performance and took to X to voice their thoughts.

Some fans questioned the superstar power of the duo. 

Jrue Holiday has a good time in Boston 

On the other hand, as the Celtics faced off against the Indiana Pacers, former Bucks guard, Jrue Holiday played exceptionally well. In the 25 minutes that he was on the hardwood, he scored 15 points with seven rebounds and four assists. The team, as a whole, also performed well, ensuring that they were able to put up 155 against the Pacers’ 104. 

Watching this, fans couldn’t help but wonder if Milwaukee made the wrong choice in trading Holiday. The 33-year-old has been playing consistently in all the games for the Celtics this season and is proving himself to be an integral part of the team. Some of the reactions of the fans were,
