4-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry is a fan of the NFL. Steph is very passionate about his favorite NFL team, The Carolina Panthers, despite their 5-year losing streak. Being one of the Greatest Basketball Players in NBA history, Curry is always bombarded with questions about the drama going on in the NFL because fans want to hear what the 2-time MVP has to say.

In an interview, the Golden State Warriors guard talked about the time he was dragged into an ongoing NFL drama by the Bay Area fans and media.

In a year-old interview with The Charlotte Observer, Scott Fowler asked the 4-time Champion about his favorite team, the Carolina Panthers. “Your thoughts on the Panthers as they are in the midst of what probably will be their fifth losing season in a row?” asked Fowler. In response, Steph talked about the time when the media were trying to drag him into the drama of Coach Matt Rhule getting fired in 2022. “Why are you asking me?” wondered Curry as the people from the Bay Area rained questions on the 35-year-old. Steph was also asked about Running Back Christian McCaffrey’s trade scenario.

Steph also chuckled at the fact that soon after, McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers and was playing in the Bay Area. Curry also hung out with the Former Panthers’ Running back when he came to watch a Warriors game.

Despite the team’s recent struggles, the Baby Faced Assassin revealed that he was still very passionate about the Carolina Panthers, and they were his favorite NFL team. “They’re going to figure it out. Rebuilding is always difficult.” Added the 2022 Finals MVP. Steph has the first-hand experience of going through a rebuilding phase.
