In the post-game interview, the “Joker” dropped this gem, “Sometimes I don’t even look and I know he is going to be there,” melting the hearts of all the fans and spectators. Gordon-Jokić Bond That Crosses Borders

Fresh off his second consecutive MVP award, Jokić competed in the EuroBasket tournament in his native Serbia following the 2022 season. While anticipating a delayed reunion with his teammates, one player sought an earlier connection.

Aaron Gordon, during his European vacation, surprised Jokic, even bringing his mum along. “I just wanted to let him know that he got a brother, no matter where he is in the world,” Gordon told ESPN. “After he’s done playing basketball and disappears, I’ll still be able to pull up on him.” Gordon added jokingly, to which Jokic wittily replied, “Yeah, I don’t know about that.”

Fast forward to championship glory. The Denver Nuggets celebrated its historic NBA Championship win last season with a massive citywide parade. However, Jokić wasted no time in departing for Serbia with a special guest: Aaron Gordon. For the second straight offseason, Gordon found himself exploring Europe.
