When the hoops world misses on-court action, drafts, and trades take up the center stage. From the very first day, NBA circles have been seeing blockbuster trades and re-signings. However, a move that shocked fans came prior to the free agency when the Golden State Warriors traded their #3, Jordan Poole.
The 27-year-old has landed in the capital to play for the Washington Wizards, which became the legendary Michael Jordan‘s home during the climax of his career. However, fans don’t seem to be excited about Poole pairing up with a Wizards star.

Will we see a new duo emerge out of Michael Jordan’s former team?
Despite winning two three-peats in Chicago, MJ was not able to bring a single silverware to the capital. Now, the challenge has fallen on another Jordan. The Wizards’ latest acquisition will be aided by 2020 NBA champion, Kyle Kuzma.

While Poole was traded to the Wizards, Kuzma re-signed with the franchise. Upon landing in Washington, Poole candidly addressed the media and spoke about his past with the GSW and his future with the Wizards.
Additionally, he was quick to cross paths with his new teammate?Kuzma. The two posed for pictures together, holding their Wizards jerseys. The picture of these young star players has now become a hit on Twitter.

Catching the tweet, quite a lot of fans grew eager to express their expectations through their tweets.
Fans mock Washington Wizards’ newest duo
Both Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma can work wonders for their franchise. Both have proven their mettle and have won the NBA ring once during their career.
However, their most recent stint in the league does not stand out in their otherwise illustrious resume. Poole’s 2023 post-season numbers were underwhelming, while Kuzma was nowhere near the playoffs.
Perhaps due to such reasons, many fans do not hold high hopes for the duo.

As the tweets piled up, fans showed no mercy to Washington’s latest duo.
It’s 30 NBA teams in total, so like 28 or 29 of them depending on the day i guess.

This fan does not envision the duo and the Wizards going deep in the upcoming season.
