Giannis Antetokounmpo enjoys a robust support system that extends beyond his basketball fanbase, where he is affectionately known as the “Greek Freak.” Among his most significant supporters are his fiancée, Mariah Riddlesprigger, and their three children.

The specifics of Mariah and Giannis’ initial meeting remain unknown, but it is widely speculated to have occurred in the mid-2010s. Both were in the early stages of their respective careers, with Riddlesprigger interning for the 76ers, and Antetokounmpo in his second NBA year. Clues from Antetokounmpo’s Instagram offer glimpses into the early phases of their relationship, with a notable confirmation on December 31, 2016, when he shared a picture of them together, captioned: “Happy New Year from us.”

While the early days of their relationship remain private, the NBA champion and fashion entrepreneur have built a family of five. They welcomed their sons, Liam Charles and Maverick Shai, in 2020 and 2021, respectively, and their daughter, Eva Brooke, joined the family in 2023.

This marks the first time she, along with the entire Antetokounmpo family, will offer a personal glimpse into their lives behind the scenes. With that considered let’s look at Gianni’s fiancée.

Born on September 17, 1992, in Fresno, California, Mariah Danae Riddlesprigger is the daughter of Patrick and Cathy Riddlesprigger. With two younger sisters named Maya and Makayla, Mariah hails from a family deeply connected to the sports industry, much like her NBA star partner.

Graduating from Rice University in Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and sport management in 2014, Mariah balanced her academic pursuits with internships in the NBA Summer League. After graduation, she worked in basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers. In her athletic background, Mariah played as an outside hitter in volleyball during both high school and college. Before attending Rice University, she captained her high school team, earning the MVP award.
