Jayson Tatum and his arguments with refs are a never-ending story in the NBA world. Tonight, the announcers found a perfect comparison for the Boston Celtics star forward for his on-court activities. During the final few minutes in the close game against the Atlanta Hawks, Tatum argued with a ref over a foul call. Despite the replay clearly displaying the star’s attempt to grab the Hawks player’s hand, he continued to argue.

In response to Tatum’s antics on the court, the Hawks announcer produced a hilarious reaction. He said, “Jayson Tatum does a lot of complaining. Who does he think he is, Caitlin Clark?”

Unfortunately, the complaining didn’t seem to work for Jayson Tatum & Co. as the Celtics suffered a rare loss tonight. The Hawks hosted the top-seeding team on a Monday night clash. The Celtics went in short-handed without Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. Similarly, the Hawks took them on without their superstar, Trae Young. The game went down the wire, and the Hawks came out in flying colors, taking a 120-118 victory, exposing the vulnerability of the Celtics.

Nevertheless, keeping the game result aside, the Hawks announcer’s hilarious dig at Tatum definitely has a connection with the NCAA superstar Caitlin Clark. The Iowa Hawkeyes player continued from where she left off in the previous edition of March Madness.

Apart from her balling prowess, she is also known for her repeated arguments with the refs. In fact, the star also has a separate set of videos on the internet focussing on her arguments. Recently, one of her arguments went viral after her father stepped in to stop her.

Caitlin Clark’s dad stops a Jayson Tatum moment

A few days ago, in the NCAA first-round game against the Holy Cross Crusaders, the Iowa side came out on top. However, the game became a physical affair when the Crusaders decided to throw in a few elbows at Caitlin Clark & Co. During one such play, a Crusaders player shoved her elbow in Clark’s face.

The 22-year-old went by her business to argue with the refs, who definitely seemed to have missed the call. While the arguments went on for a moment, the cameraperson immediately switched to Clark’s dad. He was upset with his daughter’s repeated arguments and hilariously asked her to stop.
