The All-Star Weekend is over and all the NBA top guns have taken refuge in different corners of the world, from basking under tropical skies to indulging in quality time with loved ones, NBA superstars such as Stephen Curry, Trae Young, and Jason Tatum amongst others are making the most of their well-deserved respite to cut it loose and take it easy.

Ayesha Curry, Warriors’ superstar Steph Curry’s wife, shared an Instagram story with her 7.9 million followers. In the story, one can see “Chef” Curry traded baskets for giant binoculars at a picture-perfect location. Ayesha’s caption perfectly captures the moment: “What a view!” while actually referring to Curry. Steph seems to be soaking up the sun and stunning scenery before he returns for the next Warriors game against the LA Lakers.

Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young has swapped the basketball court for vibrant Orlando, Florida, where he’s enjoying quality time with friends and family. His Instagram stories offer glimpses into his downtime, featuring “Lobos Nights,” referencing a tequila brand, with his crew. Another story posted by him captioned, “Another day, another opportunity” captures his kid at what appears to be Disneyland!

The Boston Celtics superstar, Jason Tatum, also shared some of his tropical escapes in his Instagram story. Tatum’s stories, although without a caption, offer a peek into his relaxing retreat. One story showcases him stretching on a gorgeous beach, while another captures a heartwarming moment between him and his son basking under the tropical sun.

Refueled after the All-Star Game and ready to rumble!

While the NBA superstars rejuvenate, let’s not forget the All-Star Game itself. The 2024 NBA All-Star Game wasn’t merely a game; it was a nostalgic throwback and a record-shattering offensive affair. The league returned to the classic East vs. West battle, with four exciting 12-minute quarters hoping to reclaim the spirit of the “world’s ultimate pickup game”.

The East emerged victorious with a historic 211-186 score, the highest in All-Star Game history. No team had ever crossed the 200-point threshold before, and the combined 397 points shattered the previous record by a whopping 23 points.

Damian Lillard emerged as the undisputed sharpshooter, dishing out an incredible 11 three-pointers on his way to a 39-point performance and the coveted Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP trophy. Tyrese Haliburton put on a show for his Indy crowd, raking in 32 points. The West wasn’t without its offensive prowess, with Karl-Anthony Towns going off on a game-high 50 points late in the contest. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also chipped in a solid 31-point performance, but ultimately, Team East prevailed.

The NBA resumes its journey on February 23rd with a jam-packed schedule featuring 12 games, including highly anticipated match-ups like Golden State Warriors vs. LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder vs. LA Clippers.
