Warriors avert disappointment, thanks to Curry

Despite losing Chris Paul, the Warriors maintained control for most of the game and managed to not falter down the stretch this time. Instead, they orchestrated late-game prowess when it mattered the most. Luckily, Stephen Curry‘s clutch shots came in handy for the Warriors to avert another disappointment. In their previous game, the Warriors gave up a significant lead over the Denver Nuggets in the fourth quarter. Furthermore, they were shellshocked by a Steph-like long-range game-winner by Nikola Jokic.

Against the Pistons, Steph sank four crucial free throws and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the final 92 seconds, securing the Warriors’ victory. Overall, Curry added 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, providing the spark the Warriors needed to bounce back from the previous loss.
