Truly, he’s one of the best players in the entire fraternity. Early in his career, he earned a reputation for his kind personality. Due to this, Foot Locker aired a series of advertisements in which they titled him the “nicest guy in the NBA“.
In a surprising turn of events, the basketball superstar has weighed in on the much-hyped cage match between two tech titans. This time, it’s not sporting giants; rather, it’s Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO & Twitter owner Elon Musk. Durant believes that dedication and preparation will give them the advantage in the showdown. And he also gave his prediction as to who he thinks might easily win.

We know Durant for his active presence on social media and shared his opinions on Zuckerberg and Musk’s social media empires. Durant, despite his participation on several platforms, remained neutral when it came to supporting either CEO’s social media presence.
But during an interview at Game Plan, Durant confidently expressed his support for Zuckerberg in the cage match between the tech titans. He said, “I would definitely go to see that”.

And according to Durant, Zuckerberg has an advantage in the fight because he trains physically, unlike most people who just talk on social media. Durant confidently stated, “I would take Zuckerberg because he actually practices. So I think he would win pretty easily”, hinting at the Meta CEO’s disciplined approach.
The battle between Twitter and Meta
While some young NBA players prefer to stay off social media entirely, Durant feels a responsibility to interact with fans. When he was asked about his online presence, he said, “I’m on everything, bro”.

They even asked him about his thoughts on the new Instagram app called Threads, which resembles Twitter. Answering that, he said, “It’s cool. Another way to get the thoughts off”. Durant revealed he maintains secret burner accounts on all major platforms. However, these accounts are not meant for trolling, as some may assume. Instead, he uses them to communicate with close friends and people he genuinely wants to engage with.
Durant endorsing Zuckerberg’s odds of winning against Musk adds more excitement to the hypothetical event.
