Apart from being an NBA superstar, Stephen Curry is a loving husband and a father of 3 beautiful children. His wife Ayesha Curry also has a successful career as a cook and an actor. But with all eyes on the most popular couple in Golden State, it was not easy for Ayesha to raise 3 children, mostly on her own.
Ayesha Curry opened up about her pregnancies and postpartum experience, revealing how getting pregnant at an early age was difficult for the couple.

Ayesha Curry was a guest on the Because Life podcast, hosted by Stephen Curry’s sister, Sydel Curry. In the episode, Ayesha talked about her postpartum depression and labor anxieties. Having 3 children, Ayesha has gone through multiple pregnancies at different stages of her life. “All three of them threw me for a loop in different ways,” said Ayesha while talking about her emotional state during pregnancy.
Steph and Ayesha got married in 2011 at a very young age. “We were babies when we got married. I was 22.” Stephen Curry was 23 at the time of their marriage. Soon after, the couple had their first daughter, Riley. Ayesha stated that she had no idea what she was getting into. She experienced loneliness because Steph was out playing for the Warriors.

However, her first pregnancy was very normal, and not traumatic in any way. It was a more stressful time in the Curry family when their second daughter, Ryan was about to be born.
Ayesha and Steph’s middle-child pregnancy struggles
Steph and Ayesha tried to conceive their second child but were unsuccessful for a long time. As soon as they decided to give up, Ayesha got pregnant with Ryan. “I like broke down because I literally was so done,” said Ayesha about her second pregnancy.

Her pregnancy with Ryan came at a very difficult time as the Warriors dynasty had started taking shape with their first championship. This launched Stephen Curry into superstardom. “I felt like I had to share him,” Ayesha said about the amount of popularity and attention his husband gained from all the success.
This was very new for the 34-year-old as she had to go through people body shaming and bullying her on social media while she was pregnant. All the attention and criticism was a lot to handle for Ayesha because she was also in the early stages of building her career.
