Chet Holmgren has yet to make his NBA season debut. However, despite that, he is rapidly etching his name in the league’s annals. The 2022 draft’s second overall pick had to sit out his rookie season due to a Lisfranc injury in his right foot. However, he’s now more prepared than ever, having absorbed the NBA experience from the sidelines. The Oklahoma City Thunder stands as one of the most promising young teams in the league, and with Chet’s return, their roster is primed to reach new heights of efficiency.

While they have suffered defeats in two of their four preseason games, their two victories serve as a testament to the roster’s potential. Their initial triumph came against Victor Wembanyama‘s Spurs, and their most recent victory was against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Intriguingly, as Chet focused on leading his team past the Greek Freak, an unexpected fan was there to cheer him on.
