Kyrie Irving rolls back the time
Kyrie recently uploaded a snap, revealing his new look ahead of another competitive season of basketball. In the clip, he was seen enjoying his new goatee as he added a caption of “Lol”. “This is by far one of the funniest looks I have ever had,”?he mentioned while laughing.
His fresh look resembled the style of his character from the 2018 movie ‘Uncle Drew’. That movie gave the 31-year-old the nickname of Uncle Drew. After unveiling his current look though, he wanted the new nickname of “Goatee Ky,”?as he said, “That’s my new nickname”.
Despite bringing the movie character to life, he seemed unsure. So, he asked, “Yo, should I keep this?”?raising doubts over his fresh cut. Amidst all these, Kyrie can not be under-confident about one thing.
The championship hopes from Dallas
Last season witnessed a time of turmoil in the career of the point guard. Following various on and off-the-court controversies, he eventually moved to the Mavericks who were looking destined for playoffs.

Since his inclusion in the team, the squad failed to adapt quickly to the change. Their performance on the court dipped with a sharp decline in wins over the next couple of months. By the end of the regular season, they missed out on the playoffs.
The 8-time All-Star was blamed for this. There were doubts about his contribution to the team with a chance of him leaving Dallas ahead of next season. The franchise showed their faith in him with a reported 3-year $126 million contract and the balance was restored.
