In a recent sit down with Shannon Sharpe for the latest episode of Club Shay Shay, Paul revealed the BTS of the Lakers trade. Most importantly, he spoke about the possibility of the Knicks. He started off saying, James could go only to the top tier teams, considering his legacy. He said, “Your (James) brand is here you only got so many options right.” Paul continued, “We wasn’t going to New York, even though New York… was an option.”

After selecting the Lakers, Rich Paul had an important message for the King. On the same show, Paul said, “ He went to eight straight Finals… You coming down off that mountain top. Now you know when we go to LA, it’s all about Championship, but all you need is one.” Moreover, James has already fulfilled the condition of lifting the trophy along with the Finals MVP in 2020.
