Stephen Curry is credited with revolutionizing basketball in terms of scoring 3-pointers beyond the arc. A day after the star piled 3500 3-pointers, he faced a heartbreaking time. He played for 31 minutes and could only tally 7 points, 7 assists, and 2 rebounds. As his game looked so frozen, his fans on social media flooded to comment upon the same. What was even more disappointing was that it was the first time in his 268 games that he could not score a single 3-pointer in the game.

His streak started on December 1 2018 against Detroit Pistons. Curry kept on hitting the nail on its head from the distance for five long years. He is the master of the craft and had his last such game against the Milwaukee Bucks in November 2018. Also, Stephen missed all nine of his 3-pointer attempts in Game 5 just before the Warriors won the cup.
Curry was proving to be solid as steel for the Warriors to improve their standing after back-to-back stellar performances but a day after the iconic milestone disappointed his fans.
A heartbreak after an epic match
Stephen Curry is the leader in the NBA world when comes to scoring the three-pointers. Happy over his own 3500 3-pointers, Curry celebrated the exploits of Keegan Murray too in the press conference. Murray scored 12 3-pointers in the game and that astonished Curry as he heaped praises. He expressed joy and suggested Murray be consistent. A day later he needed the comforting words of his coach.
Steve Keer offered words of encouragement to the star. He recognized what a pillar of support Curry has been to the team. He said, “We can’t rely on Steph to bail us out on every single night. It was a tough night for him, but that’s what a team is supposed to be about. Everybody filling in for each other, different guys stepping up each night. That’s a great sign because he’s carried us for long enough this year. We need to give him more help.”
