This season has been a testing ground for the Golden State Warriors‘ future. Head coach Steve Kerr has been ignoring the roaring cries of the Dub Nation, as the team is yet to find its footing this season. Amid this tough situation, cool-headed Steve Kerr has been testing new starting line-ups and the recent one doesn’t seem to impress the fans.
The Warriors entered this season with their standard core starting line-up involving Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney. But, it didn’t work out because of the inconsistency and unavailability of the players. Since then, Kerr has been on the hunt to find the perfect mix for the team.

Ahead of the Tuesday night clash against the Orlando Magic, Kerr revealed the starting line-up, and it remained unchanged from the previous game. The team took on the Dallas Mavericks in their last game with a new line-up, bringing up Chris Paul and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
Despite the loss, Kerr decided to back the team for tonight’s game. Notably, in his previous lineup, he benched Andrew Wiggins and brought in Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga up the ladder. In return, it reaped a five-game winning streak.
Despite that, Kerr opted to go with the newly formed line-up. And, the star coach’s decision didn’t sit well with the fans, as they swarmed the social media comments with harsh opinions. Here are some of them.

Kerr’s so in love with CP, it’s maddening & annoying. 🙄

You want 2 way lineup so you are starting Cp3 🤣🤣 better choice was PODZ if you don’t want to play wiggins and kuminga together

Some section of the fans expressed their displeasure because of the short nature of the line-up. However, Kerr had his own response to the doubts as he cleared it by saying that the inclusion of CP3 would create more open spaces for Steph.
There’s nothing to see defensively from a lineup with Steph, CP
And Klay lmaoo. This guy’s a joke.Swap CP3 for either Moody, Podz or Wiggins and you will see the defense improve immensely.

Stephen Curry opened up on the new line-up
Following the Mavs loss, Steph picked up the mic and addressed the press. One of the reporters asked the superstar about the constant change in the starting line-up. And Steph went on to drop his two cents on the complex nature of Kerr’s decision.
He said, “It’s the nature of this team… we’ve experimented a lot. Some for forced reasons, some for us, again, just searching for an identity… we haven’t found it collectively.”
